High Lacquer Drinks Cabinet.

This stunning cabinet was commissioned by some long term clients and now good friends. Delight by his client’s requirements, Dan set about designing this beautifully stylish piece of work.

The main body is made from birch plywood which was then given a resin base coat. The exquisite mirror finish was achieved by carefully applying a high gloss polyester lacquer. The side board holds drinks glasses in one side and dinner service in the other. It features push to open, soft close draws and doors. This cleverly eliminates the need for fussy handles, keeping the whole design ultra slick, clean, and exceptionally contemporary.

Other design elements include internal adjustable glass shelves, sandblast finished aluminium feet and a complex angled front edge, that goes all the way around the this exciting piece of bespoke furniture

Please remember we can make and build to any design style and taste. It is our passion to build pure and beautiful work that is a joy to live with.

Bespoke Dining Table and Chairs.

This stunning bespoke dining table and 6 chairs has been commissioned by clients in the New Forest to complete their newly built kitchen extension.

The table is made from solid maple and features a subtle curve along each side, allowing it to sit beautifully within the dining space.

The six dining chairs are made from laminated maple that has been  shaped over a mould using a former in a vacuum press, giving the chair backs a gentle curve for style and ergonomic comfort.

The legs are made from brushed stainless steel and are secretly bonded to the wood so there are no visible fixings.

The ‘keyhole’ design featured in the each chair back, gave the client the clean lined contemporary look they were hoping to achieve.

All pieces are finished with Osmo wax, which gives the maple a beautiful fresh finish and makes the most of the subtle colours and grain in the wood as well as an enduring protective finish.

Angel Cottage Wall Mounted Cupboard

This wall mounted kitchen cupboard was commissioned as part of a full kitchen project in a beautiful country cottage near Shaftsbury in Dorset.

The bespoke cupboard was used to store glass wear and crockery.

The carcase itself, like the rest of the kitchen, was made as a one off with adjustable shelves. The doors are made from moisture resistant mdf and then veneered with Olive Ash and Black Walnut, finished with tung oil.

A delightful sweeping detail reflects the contours of the rolling hills that can be viewed from the kitchen windows. The detail is double sided so it continues when the doors are open.

When the doors are shut, this humble kitchen cupboard is often mistaken for a unique work of art, a painting with many lines and contours depicting the stunning Dorset landscape. This inspired idea showing Daniel to be both a talented designer and artist.

After the kitchen the clients went on to commission a utility room, an Oak dining table, an office space with curving work station and book casing in their Dorset cottage.

Smith England Display Cabinet.

This oak display cabinet was commissioned by Smith England in time for the grand opening of their flag ship salon in Salisbury city centre.

Smith England is a luxury boutique and hair salon set in a beautiful Tudor building, situated right next to the Cathedral Gate.

With this spectacular setting in mind, the brief was to construct a large display cabinet that is practical in its use, stylish in its look, but is also in keeping with its traditional period setting.

The display cabinet is made from solid oak that has been stained and waxed to a high finish. It was built in two parts (shelves and cupboards), for easy assembly and access through the salon doors.

The shelves are fully adjustable and fitted with individual 12 volt, flush mounted, spot lights to illuminate the exclusive products for sale.

The finished cabinet sits beautifully within the luxurious salon, visible from the street and is an excellent example of good design, timelessly straddling both traditional classic and contemporary modern genres.

Fitted Linen Cupboard.

The carcasses were constructed and under-coated in our workshops, and fitted on site by the team. These cupboards were commissioned specifically for their location, so are made to measure and are totally unique to the clients needs.

Please notice the slotted side panels; this is a clever bit of design to allow warm air from a hot water loop in the flooring to circulate freely within the entire cupboard. This keeps the linen dry and beautifully aired.

This is now the client’s favourite room in the house and she has lovingly labelled every shelf with the help of the chrome label plates attached to each interior shelf.

Dining Booth.

This 1950’s style dining booth is hand made from birch ply and upholstered in cherry red leather. The construction features a compound curve with space for a circular table in the centre.

The bespoke piece illustrates the intelligent use of an awkward dead space in the corner of a large kitchen. Robust and free standing, it is ideal for use as a breakfast booth or for hectic family meals being big enough to seat four.

This vibrant and fun addition to a beautiful contemporary kitchen brings the family together daily and gave the client the unique twist that they were hoping for.
